Setting Up Outlook Emails in Chrome
Setting up your emails in Chrome can make it easier when accessing and using the Google Sheets that may be sent through via email from time to time. Smart Files also works better in Chrome, so by setting up your emails this way, email links to reports etc will open in Chrome as default
To set your emails up in Chrome please follow the guide below:
- Open up Chrome and enter the following into your address bar - https://webmail.hosted-mailbox.co.uk/owa
- This will take you to the login page
- At the top right of Chrome below the close button you will see 3 circles in a line, click this and then hover over More Tools. This will then open a sub menu where you will see Create Shortcut, click this
- It will ask you to name your shortcut, leave as the default Outlook and click OK
- This will then create a desktop shortcut for you with the outlook symbol
- If you would like to add this to your taskbar along the bottom, simply drag from the desktop towards the taskbar and this will then "pin" it to the taskbar permanently
And that's it! Your emails will now open in Google Chrome by default
