Receipt Printer Printing Blocks and Random Characters

Receipt Printer Printing Blocks and Random Characters

Is your receipt printer printing similar to the receipt on the right? There is a simple fix that requires changing something known as the baud rate of the printer. Please follow the steps below to sort this issue:

1. Turn off the receipt printer
2. Turn the receipt printer back on by holding down the power button and feed button at the same time on the front of the receipt printer until it does a print out
3. Once it has done this print out press the feed button twice which will produce another print out
4. Once the print out is done press the feed button again once
5. This will produce a final print out which will say 9600

And that's it!
